Satake SBFB Bran Finisher

The SBFB IncliTec Bran Finisher is the first in a new series of machines designed to bring the benefits of the latest SATAKE IncliTec technology to the milling industry. 

The SBFB effectively cleans the bran, recovering flour which would otherwise be lost, thereby increasing extraction rate. 

The key to this separation is the inclusion of an easily adjustable angle of operation . Accurate control of operation is one of the SBFB IncliTec Bran Finisher’s main benefits.

Operation

On entering the SBFB material falls into the main chamber. Here the rotating beaters impact against the product in a spiral motion agitating the material against a perforated screen and toward the outlet. Floury material is encouraged to fall through the screen while bran overtails to the secondary outlet. By inclining the main body by up to 9 degrees the operator can control the dwell time of material in the chamber by retarding the product flow through the chamber. This gives the operator accurate control of the amount of work done on the product.
