New service: Milling Roll Refurbishment
Satake now offers a full milling roll refurbishment service, using the latest in advanced technologies to extend the life of and ensure the high quality of your milling rolls.
Our advanced computer-controlled machining centre, located in our new roll workshop in Penrith, was custom built in The Netherlands and is capable of both grinding and growing to the highest level of precision.
As part of the upgrade to our workshop, a new automated shotblast/frosting station has been installed together with precision tool cutting stations and roll handling equipment.
Services offered:
Roll chill inspection report using the latest Optical Flute Testing (OFT) system
Roll refluting with a compressive range of profile designs
Roll regrinding and frosting including camber/taper profiles
Final inspection
Protective packing and return transport
