KPS Agro Products, under KPS Group, unveiled its new manufacturing unit along with its premium quality product range, “KPS Kitchen King” at Binodbati near Tarakeshwar, Hooghly, India.
KPS Group was established in 1950 at Hooghly during the last 73 years, this organization has developed and today includes KPS Mall Chinsurah, KPS Institute of Polytechnic, Vivekananda Himghar Pvt Ltd, Green Field Nutritional Pvt Ltd, Jasmine Rice Mill Pvt Ltd, Poorna Cold Storage Pvt Ltd, Kalipada Service Station, and Ramakrishna Properties, in addition to the Kalipad Saha Memorial Charitable Trust engaged in public service.
In 2022, the company launched KPS Agro Products, whose main objective was to produce a variety of high-quality food products using modern scientific methods in the state. The new manufacturing unit produces a variety of products, including Atta, Maida, Sooji, and Bakery Maida.
In April 2023 the commissioning of a new 200 TPD flour mill, featuring the latest Henry Simon machinery was completed. The Henry Simon team carried out engineering and supplied the main machines of the cleaning and milling sections, and the Optical Sorter in the new manufacturing unit.
Lanna Products Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of agricultural products in the northern Thailand, completed the installation and commissioning of the Henry Simon Roller Mill and auxiliary equipment at their mustard plant in September 2023. The new Roller Mill is highly automated and features the latest Henry Simon Advanced Sensor Technology™.
The IAOM SEA Region Conference and Expo was held at the New World Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 1st – 3rd October 2023. Attendees from Henry Simon Asia were Yutaka Kawamoto, Deputy Head of the Industrial Machinery and Plant Department, and Anil Gulmez, Sales Support Specialist. Nearly 170 professionals from the food processing industry joined together at this event, it was a great opportunity to meet with our customers from the Southeast Asia region.

This year, Henry Simon once again participated in the annual JTIC milling show held at Auxerre Expo Centre in Auxerre, France on 8th – 9th November 2023. The show is a very popular one amongst the French and European millers, with a good attendance.
This year in particular attracted many important millers from across Europe in the hope of expanding and optimizing their mills, many of whom have paid a visit to Henry Simon stand. Next year, JTIC will celebrate a milestone at it’ll be its 100th anniversary and this will undoubtedly attract even more visitors.
The IAOM Middle East & Africa Annual Conference & Expo was held at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre (EIEC) in Cairo, Egypt on 12th – 15th November 2023. Attendees from Henry Simon Europe were Gary Falk, Area Sales Manager for Africa, Ridvan Unlu, Area Sales Manager for Middle East and Mr Raouf Aziz Mikael, Henry Simon Agent for Egypt.
A number of key presentations were made by the IAOM panel about wheat and financial markets within the region. The show was well attended and a number of key meetings were held with our customers to discuss projects for 2024.
Next year’s show will be held in Dubai and we look forward to seeing you all there.
